Alcohol beverages.
The government is trying to regulate alcohol beverages by creating a group of alcohol beverages and strictly regulating their distribution channels and the trade of alcohol beverages.
Any production and distribution that does not comply with government regulations is considered illegal goods.
Alcohol beverages can only be traded by business sectors who have a permit to trade alcohol beverages according to their classification of business from the Ministry of Trade.
Alcohol beverages from domestic or imported production that will be distributed must be labeled in accordance with statutory provisions. The sale of alcohol beverages is carried out separately from other goods for sale.
Alcohol Beverages Class A:
Alcohol beverages class A are beverages that contain ethyl alcohol or ethanol (C2H5OH) with a content of up to 5% (five percent).
Types of alcohol beverages included in class A include Shandy, Alcoholic Soft Drinks, Beer, Larger, Ale, Black/Stout, Low Alcohol Wine, Carbonated Alcoholic Beverages, Bali Brem Wine.

The following are the requirements for processing an alcohol beverage permit:
1. Have a Business License or NIB in the tourism sector, complete company legal documents.
2. Letter of appointment from the Distributor or Sub Distributor as a Direct Seller.
3. Customs and Excise Goods Entrepreneur Identification Number (NPPBKC) for companies extending the Alcohol Beverage Trade Certificate (SKPL).
4. Technical data form for the Direct Seller Certificate for Alcohol Beverages Class A.
5. Copy document of the applicant; KTP, KK, NPWP (if Indonesian), Passport, Kitas/Kitap (if foreigner).
6. Copy document of the worker; KTP.
7. Additional statement letter printed with headletter of company, signed and stamp by the director.
